In addition, essential changes in the firm&#8217;s <strong>internal valuation systems<\/strong> are also required in order to &#8220;<strong>motivate<\/strong>&#8221; professionals in higher hierarchies (equity partners or lawyers shortly before the &#8220;leap into partnership&#8221;) to cooperate. In the past, therefore, only larger units were usually in a position to &#8220;set up&#8221; a &#8220;reasonable&#8221; knowledge management system.<\/p>\n<p>In smaller units, attempts were usually made to build up a &#8220;knowledge pool&#8221; more or less <strong>parallel to the actual<\/strong> mandate work. Unfortunately, however, the results of the aforementioned approaches were usually <strong>far below expectations<\/strong>, and even with the personnel- and resource-intensive implementations in large law firms, the results <strong>were and are far from satisfactory<\/strong>. Why?<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section implemented in law firms (and also legal departments) so far, this may be roughly represented graphically as that primarily document templates (for Word or PowerPoint) for storage in KM systems are taken into account (to a much lesser extent, checklists or playbooks are also &#8220;maintained&#8221; in the file formats mentioned). This is <strong>( also ) mainly the task of the persons<\/strong> charged with the &#8220;knowledge management&#8221; work.<br \/>\nIdeally, however, lawyers should also provide feedback to the knowledge management team, as it is almost impossible, given the large number of legal changes, to identify and appropriately classify the necessary adaptation requirements for content in knowledge management systems without a specific reason (e.g. within the context of a case). There is <strong>no solution<\/strong> under the development with which knowledge management in law firms and legal departments can be implemented simply, effectively and fully automatically in one go.
