<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a8769e9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a8769e9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>According to Microsoft, Project Cortex is intended to &#8220;revolutionize&#8221; knowledge management within companies, especially in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Automatic retrieval<\/strong> of relevant information<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automatic indexing, grouping and categorization<\/strong> of detected content<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clustering and mapping of relations<\/strong> between all contents<\/li>\n<li><strong>Simplification of the manual correction and adjustment<\/strong> regarding the automatically performed &#8220;content refinement&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-0a30bf4 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"0a30bf4\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-57d591c\" data-id=\"57d591c\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39a30ca elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"39a30ca\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What should this look like in practice? <\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-07e7d82 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"07e7d82\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-15c13c7\" data-id=\"15c13c7\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0df941e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0df941e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>So far not all details of Cortex are known (a <strong>productive version is scheduled for mid-2020<\/strong>), also no information has been published by Microsoft, whether this service will be a free component of Office 365 &#8211; like teams- or whether to purchase additional modules for use, but what was presented and explained at the Ignite, the following first insights into the functionality of Cortex are possible:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-be48125 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"be48125\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-0f9f270\" data-id=\"0f9f270\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e3b3f1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"e3b3f1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Core functionalities of the \"Cortex\" project<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-87e462f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"87e462f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-3960fdb\" data-id=\"3960fdb\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-71d88f3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"71d88f3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Cortex retrieves <strong>all existing content of an Office 365 instance<\/strong> of the company and tries to &#8220;learn&#8221; as much as possible about the content (unsupervised learning) using AI technologies. Then the information is &#8220;tagged&#8221;, grouped and put in relation to each other.<\/li>\n<li>Cortex is functionally based on <strong>Microsoft Graph and the Office 365 Searchengine<\/strong>. I find this particularly interesting, because Microsoft announced in this context an even more extensive integration of (own) contents outside of Office 365 into the mentioned techniques on the Ignite and thus also own database information from already existing systems could be <strong>integrated into the &#8220;knowledge power&#8221; of Cortex<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The user should be able to view knowledge information from Cortex <strong>in all Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)<\/strong>, taking into account his or her access rights, and can call this information directly from the Office application.<\/li>\n<li>Each user has access to his or her <strong>personal Knowledge Center<\/strong>, which can be individually customized and expanded with additional information areas in the form of Web Parts.<\/li>\n<li>There is is also a<strong> central Knowledge Management area<\/strong>, which is automatically created by Cortex in the form of a Wikipage. It will also be possible to adjust the page layout and the displayed content.<\/li>\n<li>With the help of the tool <strong>&#8220;AI Builder&#8221; from Microsoft&#8217;s power platform, the AI capabilities of Cortex can be extended individually for the company without coding<\/strong>, e.g. to improve the extraction of information from certain document types, such as invoices or forms, so that Cortex can better evaluate, categorize and group this data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section
